Roskamala Shares New Single ‘Chameleon’ feat. Courtney Knott

Thai Singer/songwriter, producer, screenwriter and actor Roskamala has just shared her brand new single Chameleon, a stunning ballad taken from her latest EP, Truth She Told, out now!

For this song, Roskamala teamed up with singer Courtney Knott whose lush, soulful vocal glide passionately over the captivating production, instantly conveying the emotion of her heartfelt storytelling. A song about finding yourself in a dark, sad place wondering how you got there and wishing to be free from it. This heartfelt storytelling is enhanced by the delicate piano, subtle strings, steady beat and soulful melodies which create quite a warm, somewhat comforting atmosphere that I really appreciate. The song is giving me late 90s pop/r&b vibes with a memorable dramatic touch. A great song for those that love rich, soulful vocals and a warm, piano-based production.

Accompanying the release, Roskamala has shared its official music video that touches upon the suffering caused from domestic abuse. Check it out below!

Roskamala shares,
Chameleon' is the most deeply intense song I have ever written. The track is all about the relatable theme of being a people pleaser and being trapped in a situation to where one looses their identity. I wrote it when I was questioning whether the life I had was meant for me, imagining what life would be like if I was truly free, physically & spiritually. This song is about the inner war to be free. You find yourself in the most unhappy place, unsure of how you got there or how to begin the fight.
