Pink Flamingo Rhythm Revue, the solo project of Eric ‘Doc’ Mendelsohn, has just shared his brand new single Back To School, a retro-infused electro-pop cut out now via Ensemble Records.
Written about wanting to be with someone exciting, that doesn't follow the rules and makes you want to play by those rules, Back To School is a bright piece of synth-heavy electro-pop music that beautifully showcases Pink Flamingo's gorgeous vocals and storytelling abilities. Apart from the vocals and memorable falsetto, I am particularly fond of the groovy rhythms, guitar lines and bright, shimmering synths that together create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere perfect for a summer's day.
