Canadian singer and songwriter Alexander Stewart returns with another heart wrenching new single, Leave Me In The Dark.
Focusing on the betrayal that follows the breakdown of his relationship, Leave Me in the Dark is a powerful ballad that finds the talented artist beautifully showcasing his passionate, pitch-perfect vocals and storytelling abilities. I am loving the passion and emotion pouring from his vocals which are enhanced by the memorable pop production that pairs emotive piano chords with cool rhythms and punchy drums culminating in a high-energy, explosive chorus that got me singing along to it in no time.

Leave me in the dark is a song I wrote about a really toxic relationship. At the end of it, instead of ending with closure, I was completely ghosted, and it killed me.
The accompanying music video for Leave Me in The Dark features enigmatic shots of Alexander alongside a couple plagued by miscommunication. With one half of the couple constantly blindfolded, they struggle to navigate an empty house as the power imbalance between them grows.
