KIDS Share New Single ‘The Boy Won’t Grow Up’

London-based genre-bending outfit KIDS have just shared their brand new single The Boy Won't Grow Up, an upbeat, feel-good indie-pop song out now via Scruff of the Neck Records.

Taken from their kick off their eagerly-awaited debut EP Life In The City Pt. 1, out on April 21st, The Boy Won’t Grow Up channels a warm and euphoric indie-pop aesthetic, adding another layer to their eclectid direction to date. This is a song about the end of a relationship, giving the listener's the point of view of both parties involved. This message is beautifully conveyed through those gorgeous, passionate vocals which ooze so much soul and emotion that got me hooked from the start. I am loving the sun-soaked guitar plucks, groovy rhythms, steady drum patterns, lively piano keys and lush brass elements that together create an overall upbeat, feel-good atmosphere that oozes carefree summer vibes. Check it out below!

Speaking about this new offering, the band said,
There’s two sides to every story. The Boy Won’t Grow Up tells the story of a relationship dying giving each person's point of view along the way. Even if you view it differently the facts stay the same.
