Crash Test Dummies Share New Single ‘Sacred Aphabet’

Grammy-nominated, Canadian band Crash Test Dummies have just shared their brand new single Sacred Alphabet, a melancholia-infused piece of music out now via turtlemusik. 

 

2022 saw the band going on the road to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the band’s debut LP, The Ghosts That Haunt Me, and now we're gifted with a brand new single that is quite a memorable and enthralling listening experience. Sacred Alphabet is a shimmering revelation which captures a feeling of awe. The instrumentation is sparse, featuring ‘spectral’ sounds and a choir constructed entirely out of member Ellen Reid’s voice. I am loving the rich, deep vocals, lush piano chords and how warm and intimate the production is, packed with raw emotion and melancholia that makes it perfect for a reflective day home alone.
