Radha Shares New Single ‘Drowning’

Boston-based singer and songwriter Radha has just shared her brand new single Drowning, a warm, soulful piece of R&B out now via RR Records.

I am really enjoying the tone of Radha's vocals which are quite smooth yet packed with soul and raw emotion, singing about one's conflicting emotions when starting to fall in love with someone. You want to go all in but you're still afraid of the pain of allowing yourself to be truly vulnerable. This relatable message is wrapped around a polished R&B production that features gorgeous rhythmic trap drums which are seamlessly intertwined with subtle guitar plucks that create an overall warm, laid-back atmosphere perfect for Radha's soulful vocals and storytelling to soar. Check it out below!

Radha says on the track,
I wrote 'Drowning' to express the variety of conflicting emotions I navigate as I fall in love. I tend to keep up a strong exterior in the early stages of a relationship and find it difficult to present myself vulnerably in fear of the pain it may cause me. “Drowning” encompasses this headspace, along with the emotions of passion and euphoria experienced once I’ve let my guard down and opened myself up to experience the depths of love and infatuation. I hope this track resonates with listeners who encounter similar emotions as they fall in love.
