Hemes Shares New Single ‘Home’

British Arabic artist Hemes has just shared her brand new single Home, a soulful, introspective track that speaks to the universal experience of feeling like you don't belong.

Drawing from Hemes’ own experiences of feeling displaced and searching for a place to call home, Home finds the talented artist exploring her cultural identity and the complexities of feeling torn between two cultures. I am really enjoying her expressive vocals and how they beautifully convey the emotion of her relatable storytelling. Apart from her vocals and introspective songwriting, I am particularly fond of the stunning guitar lines which are seamlessly paired with steady drum patterns and how the song builds to a big, anthem-like chorus. Check it out below!

Speaking about the track Hemes says
This song concept is something I've been wanting to write for a while. It’s a universal theme that I think many people will be able to relate to, no matter where they come from or what their background is. Now that I am older I’ve realised that ‘Home’ does not have to be one place, it can be a community or multiple places, this is something I have grown to love and accept, and I look forward to sharing in future concepts and projects.
