Drea Shares New Single ‘honeymoon vacation’
Boston-based songstress Drea has just shared her brand new single honeymoon vacation, the fifth single to be lifted from her upcoming album Candid, due March.
Out now via La Reserve Records, honeymoon vacation is a shot of steamy escapism too good to resist. I am really enjoying Drea's vocals and how dynamic her delivery is, bouncing from sultry to playful while gliding effortlessly over the infectious production. honeymoon vacation is a relatable song about seeing someone you know is no good for you, yet you can't help but see them one last time. This message is wrapped around a captivating blend of electronic, pop and R&B elements that feature bright, expansive synths, a killer beat, tons of groove and dreamy harmonies that together create an overall warm, laid-back atmosphere. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, Drea said,
I wanted to write a song about seeing somebody you know you shouldn’t be seeing. It’s a toxic situation, your friends know it’s toxic, everyone knows you shouldn’t be doing it. But this is the last time, you’re not going to see each other again, and it’s bittersweet.
