Cade Hoppe Shares New Single ‘Labels’

New York-based singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Cade Hoppe returns with Labels, a retro-infused piece of electro-pop music co-produced by Harper James.

Written about being in a relationship with someone that doesn't define the relationship, getting you a bit insecure until you make yourself believe you don't need to label the relationship. Some times we need to make things clear to know where we stand and being with someone that doesn't want to have such discussion can be quite stressful. This message is beautifully conveyed through Cade Hoppe's lovely vocals that are backed by a driving synth-pop production and anthemic instrumentation that features bright, expansive synths and catchy beats that make Labels an instantly addictive listening experience. Speaking about the song, Cade says,
This is a song about having a relationship with someone that will never give you the reassurance you need — and then finding a way to justify that in order to have that relationship at all. You keep telling yourself that you don’t need a label until you might actually believe it.
