Bad Flamingo Share New Single ‘Devil and the Deep Blue’

My favourite mysterious masked contemporary indie/country duo Bad Flamingo kick off the new year with the release of their brand new single Devil and the Deep Blue, a smooth, warm piece of alternative rock music with touches of country and folk music. 

 

I am a fan of their mysterious, somewhat hypnotic, vocal harmonies and how they effortlessly flow over the captivating production. I am really enjoying the Western-esque touches in the song and how the whole atmosphere of the track is quite warm, making me picture a desert-like scenario. Apart from the stunning vocals, I am particularly fond of the impeccable guitar work throughout the song and how it is seamlessly intertwined with gentle percussion and bass groove that together create an overall warm, mysterious atmosphere perfect for a laid-back weekend.
