Vincent Coomans Shares New Single ‘Slow Down’

Belgian singer and songwriter Vincent Coomans has just shared his brand new single Slow Down, an acoustic/folk song about the powerlessness that surprises you while you’re looking at something that is or someone who is just going too fast. 

 

Out now via Illuminine Records, Slow Down is the second single from his upcoming debut album, The Great Rebuild, which is set to arrive in January 2023. I am really enjoying the vulnerability pouring from his expressive vocal delivery which effortlessly enhances the emotion of his relatable storytelling. Slow Down is a song about feeling like life, something or someone is going too fast and you have that sense of urgency to make things calm down, a plea for silence, inertia and self-care. Accompanying Vincent's gorgeous vocals we have a captivating production that features wind instruments nicely intertwined with vintage rhodes and subtle guitar plucks that together create an overall warm and intimate atmosphere perfect for a reflective day home alone.
