Chicago-based singer-songwriter Kayden McCarthy has just shared his brand new single Vulnerable, a captivating blend of pop, r&b, rap and almost grunge-like influences. 

 

I am a fan of his rich, confident vocals which ooze so much soul and passion, beautifully connecting the listeners to his relatable storytelling. Taken from his new EP The Fields, set to arrive in 2023, Vulnerable is a song that talks about previous relationship themes, creating a feeling of vulnerability and emotion. I am particularly fond of the infectious hooks and how the song features lush guitar plucks, steady drums and rhythms that together create an overall warm, somewhat sensual atmosphere perfect for a laid-back day home.
