HINYL Share New Single ‘Can’t Keep Your Love’

Washington DC-based duo HINYL, consisting of Darien Gautier and Steven Homme, have just shared their brand new single Can't Keep Your Love, an infectious piece of synthpop music!

I am loving those rich, gorgeous vocals which are packed with confidence and sould, instantly connecting the listener's to their storytelling. Can't Keep Your Love is a contemplative and moody synth-pop song about the loneliness that can follow a casual hookup. It depicts a loveless relationship where someone longs for something more meaningful and passionate, being resigned to the fact that one's lover doesn't want to be tied down and can't give them the stability they long for. Theirs is a relationship based on transactional pleasure and ephemeral intimacy. This relatable message is beautifully conveyed through the dynamic, expressive vocal which glide effortlessly over a hypnotic soundscape packed with lush, expansive synths and rhythms which are heavily influenced by George Michael's 1996 album, "Older", as well as The Weeknd, Daft Punk and the French synthpop duo Paradis. This is one of those songs that I want to play over and over again and I think you will want to do that as well! Check it out below!
