Fearn, the moniker of British producer and songwriter Will Taylor, has just shared his stirring new single Kites, a melancholy-infused lo-fi pop song. 

 

Exploring the theme of the past, and how its hazy recollection in the present can sometimes be overwhelming, Kites is an impressive collaboration with London-based artist Rob Quo whose rich, expressive vocals effortlessly capture the listener's attention throughout. I am really enjoying how the vocals are packed with raw emotion and melancholia, gliding beautifully over a chilled out production that features lush strings and synths with a steady beat and cool rhythms that make it perfect for a laid-back weekend home alone with one's thoughts.
