Blake Proehl Shares Heartfelt New Single ‘Where You Need to Be’

American singer, songwriter and NFL player Blake Proehl has just shared his brand new single Where You Need to Be, a heartfelt pop song about going through a dark time in life. 

 

Out now via Groundwork Records, Where You Need to Be follows a devastating injury during Blake Proehl's rookie season that got his career on hold for a while. The song shows how devastating and lost Blake was, questioning his purpose, but in the end shares a hopeful message that there's purpose in pain and there's a way to overcome it and come out stronger. I am really enjoying the tone of Blake's voice and how expressive and packed with emotion his delivery is, gliding beautifully over the captivating pop production. Backing his vocals we have intricate guitars and piano chords that build up in pace and energy (with cool drums) that together enhance the warmth and emotion of his message, making this quite a memorable and enthralling listening experience. Where You Need to Be is a song for those going through a bad moment in life, to stay hopeful and know they can overcome it, that there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Check it out below!
