Luke Fraser Shares New Single ‘Dead Is Done’

British genre-bending singer-songwriter Luke Fraser has just shared his brand new single Dead Is Done, taken from his debut album, Moth Eaten Romeo, out now. 

 

Dead is Done operates like the gritty opening scene of a noir movie, the point from which Moth Eaten Romeo unfolds. This is a heartbreak song that describes literally being "shot down" by a lover, a message flawlessly conveyed by Luke's frank and emotive vocal delivery. Backing his vocals we have an eclectic, adrenaline-fuelled production that pairs jazz, rock and blues elements into a memorable listening experience. I am very fond of the crashing drums, swirling organs, soaring guitars and eerie rhythms that give the song a dark, gritty edge that I really like. Check it out below!
