Jack Valero Shares New Single ‘Form Over Function’

British singer and songwriter Jack Valero has just shared his brand new single Form Over Function, the third single to be taken from his upcoming EP. 

 

Produced by Dave Izumi, Form Over Function finds Jack lamenting a love that never was, his voice shimmering with equal parts pain and power in a modern take on the torch song tradition. I am really enjoying how candid and poetic his lyrics are, with a streak of self-deprecation and emotion being backed by intricate acoustic guitar strums that are seamlessly intertwined with mournful piano chords that create an overall warm, emotional atmosphere perfect for an introspective day home alone.
