Firewoodisland Share New Single ‘Golden’

Firewoodisland, the alias of Bristol-based Norwegian/Welsh multi-instrumentalists and songwriters Stian Vedøy and Abi Eleri, have just shared their brand new single Golden, a stunning blend of Folk/Americana music. 

 

Golden tells the story of a spontaneous adventure the duo had, travelling through Europe in a small rental car, picking up some danish hitchhikers, filming music sessions on a breathtaking hillside, sneaking into a vineyard, and thinking they would end up dead in a backstreet in Albania. This honest, effortless storytelling beautifully showcases their vocals which soar atop intricate acoustic and banjo guitar plucks nicely intertwined with subtle brass elements and drum pattenrs that together create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere.
