Alexander Carson Shares New Single ‘Asleep at the Wheel’

Following the release of their stunning single Gloom, which arrived earlier this month, London-based non-binary singer, songwriter and composer Alexander Carson returns with Asleep at the Wheel, another stunning song taken from their latest album, The Idiot, out now via Diversion Records. 

 

What I like the most about this song is how smooth and soothing those vocals sound, like a warm embrace full of love. Accompanying the vocals we have intricate piano keys throughout the song that infuse it with a classic touch that I find quite captivating. The lush piano chords are nicely paired with cool strings, subtle plucks and warm rhythms that together create an overall laid-back atmosphere perfect for an introspective day home alone.
