Yoshi Flower Shares New Single ‘Try Living’

Detroit-based singer and songwriter Yoshi Flower has just shared his brand new single Try Living, a captivating lo-fi rock song out now via Heroine Music Group.

Try Living is a personal, unfiltered story about Yoshi Flower's battle with addiction, a powerful storytelling that is beautifully conveyed through his smooth, expressive vocals that soar over the infectious production. The chorus is a bright instrumental while the verses are early-aughts alt/emo side. Apart from his vocals I am very fond of the lush strings, cool guitar plucks and punchy beat that create an overall upbeat atmosphere that contrasts the darker lyrical content. A great song perfect for a long drive or chill, introspective days at home. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Yoshi Flower said,
I am a recovering addict. This song is my story- the good, the bad, the ugly. The truth. It feels triumphant yet also painful to tell; it's not some sugar-coated tale. All we can do is try. But, I know I don't want to waste my second chance at living.
