Nicki Wells Shares New Single ‘Carry On’

British singer, songwriter, composer and producer Nicki Wells has just shared her brand new single Carry On, an enchanting piece of music taken from her forthcoming debut album Ellipsis, set to arrive in early 2023. 

 

Written during the lockdown as a process of self-reassurance, Carry On holds such a message of calm with its layers of soothing melodies and warm analog production. I am loving Nicki's gorgeous vocals and haunting harmonies which are packed with so much emotion that effortlessly create a sense of calm and warmth that I find to be very endearing. Backing her vocals we have gently pressed piano keys, expansive stringed-instruments and a heartbeat-like rhythms that together create the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing and introspective day home alone.
