New Friends Share New Single ‘Waste My Time’

Canadian band New Friends have just shared their brand new single Waste My Time, the second single to be taken from their upcoming EP. 

 

Written about a toxic relationship, Waste My Time is an admission that the relationship has crossed the boundary from healthy and fun to now being abusive and devastation. New Friends use the analogy of love as a drug to depict crossing over into a state of submission. This unfortunately relatable song is beautifully conveyed through confident, passionate vocals that glide over a bass-driven production seamlessly intertwined with lush guitar riffs and punchy drums. I am particularly fond of the chorus and how it sounds perfect to sing along to, infusing the listeners with a feeling of relief after having confronted their problems. Check it out below!
