Ceara Cavalieri Shares New Single ‘Liar Liar’
Californian singer and songwriter Ceara Cavalieri has just shared her brand new single Liar Liar, an anthemic pop/rock breakup song.
I am really enjoying the tone of her voice and how confident and passionate her vocal delivery is, soaring effortlessly over the upbeat production. Liar Liar was inspired when Ceara found out her boyfriend was cheating on her in Vegas with someone she used to be good friends with. It captures the pain of finding our you've been cheated on but its high-energy atmosphere helps ease the pain even if it's just for a few minutes. Apart from her vocals I am particularly fond of the soaring guitar riffs, punchy drums and how the chorus has an anthemic touch perfect to sing along to. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, Ceara Cavalieri said,
I had a dream the night prior that he was cheating with her, and he tried denying it for weeks. Eventually, one of his friends told me the truth with screenshots, and I wrote Liar Liar the following day. It is the worst feeling when you find out your intuition was right when dealing with something like that, especially if you think you're "in love." I wanted to write a fun, empowering post-breakup song that you can scream in your car and help ease the pain of being cheated on, even if it's just for a couple of minutes.
