Monocule Shares New Single ‘Stargazing’ ft. Leo Stannard

Powerhouse DJ/Producer and label head Nicky Romero returns as his underground alter ego Monocule with the new single Stargazing, for which he teamed up with British singer/songwriter Leo Stannard. 

 

Out now via Protocol Recordings, Stargazing finds Monocule diverging from his tech and house-influenced sound to an organic and melodic but still deep progressive vibe. I am a fan of Leo Stannard's rich, soulful vocals which glide beautifully over undulating melodies and organic, deep basslines that together create an overall cinematic and cathartic listening experience. Apart from Leo's vocals, I am particularly fond of the subtle piano keys and groovy, danceable rhythms that give me a sense of euphoria, making me want to get up and dance my pain away.
