Madeline Consoer Shares New Single ‘Summer Forever’

Following the release of her breakup song How Do I Not which arrived earlier this summer, Nashville-based singer and songwriter (and recent The Voice participant) Madeline Consoer returns with a lovely pop song called Summer Forever.

I am really enjoying the tone of Madeline Consoer's voice and how passionate and expressive her vocal delivery is, instantly connecting the listeners to her storytelling. Summer Forever is a relatable song about wishing that summer would last a bit longer, as this period exudes blissful, carefree feelings and moments. Madeline captures the melancholia of seeing summer almost over, where we cling to the fond memories we created during this time. This message is backed by a polished blend of Country and Pop elements with intricate guitar riffs nicely intertwined with steady drum patterns and rhythms that together create an overall warm, sun-soaked atmosphere. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Madeline said,
Wishing summer lasted a little longer is a pretty universal thought, I think. Whether it’s because you want it to stay warmer, or you want that summer love to last, this song can kinda tug on all those strings. The production really helps the feel of the lyrics hit home, with its equal parts sad and melancholy, and then happily reminiscent. I loved writing this song because of how relatable it felt to me… I mean, I definitely wish that it was summer forever :)
