HOAX Share New Single ‘Wasting Time’
New York-based indie pop-rock band HOAX, the musical brainchild of Michael Raj and Frantz Cesar, have just shared their brand new single Wasting Time, the latest single to be taken from their narrative-driven debut concept album b?, which is out now.
What I like the most about this song is its warmth and chill vibes, that instantly got me in a good mood and ready to face the day. Wasting Time is a song about realising that time only goes forward, we're all finite and we should enjoy this ride with some good people. I am also very fond of the psych-infused guitars, gorgeous drum patterns and somewhat hazy vibes that together create an overall feel-good atmosphere perfect for a chill summer's day at the beach. Speaking about the song, HOAX said,
“Wasting Time” is not some epiphany to carpe diem. It is just understanding that time moves one way always: forward. And as far as I know, every single one of us is finite, and wasting away. So if you are going to waste away, you might as well find some people to waste away with.
