Mica Millar Shares Groove-Infused ‘More Than You Give Me’

British soul newcomer Mica Millar has just shared her brand new single More Than You Give Me, a groove-infused piece of soul/r&b music.

Out now via Golden Hour Music, More Than You Give Me beautifully showcases Mica Millar's rich, soulful vocals which sing about being in a relationship where you're not truly appreciated, realising you're worth more and deciding to walk away. This relatable message is backed by a memorable production that blends elements of soul and r&b to create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere. I am particularly fond of the lush guitars, emotive piano chords, soulful organ chords, steady drums and groovy rhythms that create the perfect soundscape for Mica's gorgeous vocals to soar.

Accompanying the release, Mica Millar has shared its official music video, directed by Matthew Boone, which beautifully embodies the song's warmth and message. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Mica Millar said,
Sometimes it takes a new person or situation to make you reflect on a relationship with a new perspective. This song is about gaining that new perspective, reclaiming your power and being unapologetic about it. It’s the moment you realize the relationship isn’t right, you’re worth more and you decide to walk away. The concept for this video was about falling in and out of love. It's about the places you go to in your mind when you're fighting against the end of a relationship that you know isn't right for you and being pulled towards someone else.
