Gold Spectacles Share New Single ‘Social Graces’

London-based collaborative multi-instrumentalist, songwriting and producing duo Gold Spectacles have just shared their new single Social Graces, the focus track of the Director's Cut version of their debut album. 

 

In the narrative, Social Graces delves into themes of escapism, social awkwardness and an inability to say how you really feel. This relatable, introspective message is beautifully conveyed through their lush, expressive vocals which soar effortlessly over the polished indie-pop production. Apart from the vocals, I am particularly fond of the prominent bassline throughout the song and how it is nicely intertwined with plucky guitars and steady drum patterns that create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere.
