Swedish bedroom pop producer Francis Moon has just shared his brand new single The Weight Of An Ocean, a heartwarming piece of indie folk music out now via alexrainbirdRecords. 

 

The Weight of an Ocean was inspired by life choices where there is no good outcome... in this case, choosing whether to tell someone that you love them and destroying the friendship that you've both built, or choosing to stay silent and instead carry "the weight of an ocean" on your shoulders. This relatable message is flawlessly conveyed through lush vocals and dreamy harmonies that glide effortlessly over a dreamlike indie-folk production. Apart fom the vocals, I am particularly fond of the intricate acoustic guitar strums throughout the song and how they are seamlessly intertwined with emotive piano keys and airy rhythms that combined create an overall warm and comforting atmosphere perfect for a chill, introspective day.
