Basset Share New Single ‘Change Of Time’

Basset, a Toronto-based folk duo consisting of acoustic singer-songwriters Sam Clark and Yasmine Shelton, have just shared their brand new single Change Of Time, a warm and intimate piece of indie-folk music. 

 

What I like the most about this song is its warmth and how captivating their vocals and harmonies are, effortlessly conveying the emotion of their storytelling. Change Of Time is a song about catharsis during a transition; a song for looking back on something that burned you out, and the recognition, only after the fact, of how hard it really was. This message and their gorgeous vocals are backed by a polished production, but Joshua Van Tassel, which features intricate guitar and ukulele riffs, lush strings and steady beat that create an overall warm and intimate atmosphere perfect for an introspective day home alone.
