Jamie Kudo Shares Debut Single ‘Supernova’

Mumbai-born, London-based singer-songwriter Jamie Kudo, the new stage alias of Siddharth Bhambure, shares his debut single Supernova, a captivating indie/electro-pop cut.

What I like the most about this song is how smooth and evocative Jamie Kudo's vocal delivery sounds, instantly capturing our attention to his storytelling. Supernova is a song about not really wanting to see that special someone moving away, even if it's just for a while, seeing them leaving all the familiar places and people behind. It's a song about not wanting to let go but realising it's for the best and promising to wait for them back at home. I am really fond of the touches of melancholia in the song which are nicely carried through the polished electro-pop production that features intricate drum patterns with expansive synths and echoing harmonies that create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for those chill, introspective days home alone. Speaking of his track, Jamie says,
This track is like the first sip of whiskey that you drink taking off on a plane headed to a place you don't know for two, maybe three or four years, looking out and watching your city get smaller in the distance.
