HiddenLif Shares New Single ‘R4TH!’

American artist HiddenLif shares his new single R4TH!, an infectious neo-soul/contemporary r&b cut about being in a relationship despite all the red flags. 

 

R4TH! stands for "Run for the hills" and is the first single to be taken from his new album The Velvet Room, out now via ShearGenious. I am really enjoying the tone of his voice which is very smooth and soulful, instantly capturing our attention from start to finish. This song centres around a relationship in which you were once in love despite all the clear warning signs that you should have ran in the other direction. Apart from his vocals I am particularly fond of the cool guitar plucks and beat that create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere. The song then shifts to a more sultry and sensual touch towards the end which gives it a whole new layer, making it even more captivating. 

 

Another stand out track off of the album is Party On Mars, which is a super groovy cut that provides an introduction into the metaphysical space that is the room. What it feels like to be welcomed into the room for the first time. Definitely a great listen perfect for a chill evening. Have a listen to both gems below!
