American singer-songwriter Eloise Alterman has just shared a stunning live performance of her single Carousel, the latest track to be taken from her Sad Bird EP, out now via Big Yellow Dog/ATCO Records/Atlantic Records. 

 

I am a fan of Eloise Alterman's vocals and in this live performance they are packed with so much passion and raw emotion, instantly connecting us to her relatable storytelling. Carousel finds the talented singer-songwriter boldly pushing outside her comfort zone to craft a soul-baring song that captures the subtlest nuances of heartache and loss. I really like the studio version but I have to say that I prefer this live performance with the guitar-based melody and her heartfelt vocal delivery creating an overall warm and intimate atmosphere that allows us to truly focus on her storytelling.
