Elizabeth Shares New Single ‘Happier Now’

Australian singer and songwriter Elizabeth has just shared her brand new single Happier Now, a catchy indie-pop song out now via Antifragile Music.

What I like the most about this song is how expressive Elizabeth's vocals are, effortlessly conveying the emotion of her relatable storytelling. Happier Now is a song about the moment you start feeling better and happier following a heartbreak. It's marked by her defiance, her total refusal to backslide even as she’s pulled into an ex-partner’s web This message is beautifully wrapped around a captivating indie/electro-pop production that features a driving beat and expansive synths that create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for a chill, introspective day at home.

Speaking about the song, Elizabeth said,
Happier Now is about the feelings that come after a heartbreak, you know, you are getting better, you are healthier, you won’t fall apart if you see your ex at a party. But you also start to have the rose coloured nostalgia for a relationship that was no good and wondering what could have been if you’d been able to make it work.
Accompanying the release, Elizabeth has shared its official music video, which she directed alongside Nick Mckk, that beautifully embodies the song's warm atmosphere. Check it out below!
