Creature Canyon Share New Single ‘Sleepwalking’
California-based band Creature Canyon, consisting of Austin Steele (vocals, guitar), Ryan Amyot (guitar), Kyle Victoria (drums), Aaron Lund (bass), and Luc Fralic (keyboards, percussion), have just shared their brand new single Sleepwalking, the latest single to be taken from their upcoming debut album, Remarks, due for release on September 2nd via Gnu Roam/Kartel Music Group.
What I like the most about this song is its infectious energy and how it got me in a good mood right after the very first listen. Austin Steele's passionate and confident vocal delivery glides effortlessly over the upbeat production and beautifully convey the anguish of the lyrics. Apart from the somewhat distorted and saturated lead vocal, I am particularly fond of the soaring guitar riffs and how they are seamlessly intertwined with punchy drums, killer synths and organ keys that together create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere with an anthemic touch. Definitely one of those songs perfect to get one in a good mood and ready to face a long day.
