Yael Danon Shares New Single ‘Teddy Bears’

Panama native singer and songwriter Yael Danon has just shared her brand new single Teddy Bears, a playful electro-pop song out now via We Are Musik.

What I like the most about this song is Yael's gorgeous vocals and how they instantly capture the listener's attention from start to finish. Teddy Bears is a relatable song about falling for someone that isn't good for you, despite being advised against it. I guess it's human nature to overlook the red flags when crushing on someone. This message is wrapped around a polished production that features bright synths seamlessly intertwined with steady drum patterns and killer bass guitar riffs that create an overall war, feel-good atmosphere.

Accompanying the release, Yael Danon has shared its official music video, directed by Daniel Banfield, which beautifully embodies the song's message and atmosphere. Check it out below!

Yael says on the track,
I was in a jam session, thinking about scenarios that I constantly see in my day to day life and I kept thinking about this one situation that keeps happening to my friends (hate to admit it but happens to me too) over and over again. 'Teddy Bears' is basically that good and SMART friend who’s warning you about this new guy you’re just starting to get to know (which she dated not - so - long ago), and which you’re already crushing on. The song highlights all the cute stupid sh*t you’re falling for, instead of looking at the big picture... he’s just another mistake. Just like your friend got hurt from him in the past, you will too. I probably need to listen to my own advice...lol.
