Tim Freitag Share New ‘Brick By Brick’

Swiss alt-rock 5-piece band Tim Freitag are back with their brand new single Brick By Brick, an upbeat indie-pop number that deals with the difficult but absolutely necessary process of detaching from one's parents. 

 

Out now via Noodle Soup Records, Brick By Brick is yet another meaningful banger from the band that pairs deep lyrics with upbeat, feel-good melodies. I am a fan of Janick Pfenninger's distinctive and expressive vocal delivery and how it soars effortlessly over the polished indie-pop/rock production. Brick By Brick deals with the difficult but absolutely necessary process of detaching from one's parents - without ever really completely breaking away and cleanly severing the umbilical cord binding us to them. This relatable message is wrapped around a polished production packed with gorgeous guitar riffs that are nicely intertwined with a steady beat and lush electronics that create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere.
