ROSIE Shares New Single ‘Something I Hate’

New York native singer, classical violinist, guitarist, vocal producer and songwriter ROSIE has just shared her brand new single Something I Hate, a warm and intimate pop song out now via Arista Records.
What I like the most about htis song is how vulnerable and emotive ROSIE's vocals sound, instantly drawing our attention to her relatable storytelling. Something I Hate is a hauntingly beautiful ballad about trying to overcome lifelong insecurities, a message flawlessly conveyed through ROSIE's lush vocals and captivating production. Apart from her vocals I am particularly fond of the intricate acoustic guitar riffs throughout the song and how they are paired with haunting harmonies, subtle piano chords and catchy electronics that create an overall warm and intimate atmosphere, with touches of melancholia, that makes it perfect for those introspective days home alone. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, ROSIE said,
Creating ‘Something I Hate’ was such a painful yet cathartic experience for me. I’ve always tried to write about what scares me, but speaking on such deep-rooted insecurities such as body dysmorphia and eating disorders was truly terrifying. I hope this song reaches every single person who needs to hear it and that it helps to heal others the way creating it has healed me.
