Dutch singer and songwriter Penny Roox has just shared her brand new single Do You Remember, a dreamy and intimate piece of indie-folk music.

What I like the most about this song is its warmth and intimate atmosphere which sounds perfect for those chill days home alone with my thoughts. Penny Roox's vocals are simply enchanting, packed with raw emotion while also infusing the song with an ethereal touch. Do You Remember is a song about lost memories of her teenage love and is beautifully wrapped around a polished production that features acoustic guitar-based melodies nicely paired with dreamy piano keys that together create an overalll mystical and dreamy atmosphere perfect for late night reminiscing. Speaking about the song, Penny Roox said,
I wrote 'Do You Remember' after I had a strange dream about my high school sweetheart. It made me think about lost memories like that time we watched the Joy Division movie Control and I cried my eyes out, or how we always smoked cigarettes in his bed. Or how small I felt when we talked about me wanting to be a musician. It felt kinda liberating writing a song about him. Anyhow - it made me wonder if he remembers these things too.
