France-based, British singer and songwriter Oliver Proudfoot has just shared his brand new single Rosalita, a dreamy blend of folk, country and americana elements.
What I like the most about this song is its intimate touch and how gorgeous and expressive Oliver Proudfoot's vocals are, packed with soul and emotion. I am also very fond of his effortless storytelling abilities which captured my right from the start. A song about moving on and live life the best way we can, Rosalita is wrapped around an intricate acoustic guitar-based melody that creates an overall warm and intimate atmosphere that I find quite soothing and perfect for a relaxing, introspective day at home. This one’s really a siren song to moving on, changing, and living life in your own way. I suppose it’s about being comfortable getting going, keep keeping on, letting it be, a world that you’ll never quite get a hold on. I also reckon that that’s a hell of a lot easier to do when you have someone there along for the ride with you too.
