Following a highly successful career in philanthropy, creating the AIDSRides, Breast Cancer 3-Day walks, and Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention walks, 61-year-old singer and songwriter Dan Pallotta returns to music with the release of his first official single John F. Kennedy, out now via CThings. 

 

Taken from his upcoming Folk/Americana album, John F. Kennedy is an inquisitive reflection on the feelings of both grief and liberation which come with leaving behind old narratives which no longer serve you. What I like the most about this song is its warmth and how effortless Dan Pallotta's storytelling is, beautifully drawing our attention from start to finish. This personal story is wrapped around a polished Americana-tinged, Folk production with intricate guitar riffs nicely intertwined with a steady drum beat that create an overall warm and intimate atmosphere perfect for a relaxing and introspective day home alone.
