Ari Abdul Shares New Single ‘Taste’

Brooklyn-based singer and songwriter Ari Abdul has just shared her brand new single Taste, a bewitching piece of indie/electro-pop music. 

 

What I like the most about this song is Ari Abdul's smoky vocals and how they ooze so much confidence and sensuality, instantly making the song quite recognisable and memorable. Apart from Ari's echoing seductive vocals, I am particularly fond of the chugging bassline and how it is nicely paired with stead drum patterns and heavily reverbed guitars that create a wall of sound that adds a surreal quality to the chorus. Taste beautifully pairs modern pop-production with haunting shoegaze elements creating an overall warm, mysterious atmosphere with sensual touches that make it quite an enthralling listening experience.
