American singer and songwriter Rena Jones has just shared her brand new single Thief, a captivating pop song that takes a playful spin on love. 

 

I am really enjoying the tone of her vocals and how expressive her vocal delivery is, beautifully drawing our attention to her relatable storytelling. Thief tells the story of a bou that was trying to capture a girl's heart but she was playing hard to get because of her fear of gettinng hurt. She was so set on not getting into a relationship because of how great her life was already and then this boy came around and was playing tug of war with her heart and she couldn’t help but cave. This message is wrapped around an infectious pop production with cool guitar riffs nicely paired with a catchy beat and delicate piano keys that create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for her vocals to soar.
