Toronto-based Filipinx singer and songwriter Jenn Nucum has just shared her brand new single Get Better, a melancholia-infused piece of music. 

 

The title track of her new EP, which is out now, Get Better is a stripped back ballad which hums with intensity, capturing a yearning and desire to ‘get better’ as people, to exercise self-compassion and take care of each other collectively. This message is beautifully conveyed through her powerful and haunting vocal delivery which oozes so much emotion and heart that won me over from the start.
