FERGUS Shares New Single ‘Fight Forever’
London-based, alt-pop singer/songwriter FERGUS has just shared his brand new single Fight Forever, a catchy alt-pop/indietronica song taken from his debut album Love Upside Down out now via Goldun Egg Records.
I am a fan of FERGUS's distinctive tone and I really like the way it fits in this more electronic sound, soaring beautifully over the upbeat melodies. I am particularly fond of the cool electronics and driving beat that set the tone for a more energetic offering from this talented artist. I am also very fond of the soaring guitar riffs and how the song has a dreamy bridge that infuses this upbeat song with a dreamy touch that I found to be quite captivating and memorable. Speaking about the song, FERGUS said,
Fight Forever started as a fun song I made when a brief came through to soundtrack an “ironic fight scene”. I wrote a song about two people falling in love whilst having a physical fight. Although I didn’t get the job, I really loved the chorus of the song! So, I rewrote the verses to be less comedic and more dramatic, then added some context in the middle to keep it personal.
