Chrome Daphne Share New Single ‘Enough’
CaesarLiveNLoud
Toronto-based duo Chrome Daphne, comprised of producer/multi-instrumentalists Chris da Silva and Jay Cherr, have just shared their brand new single Enough, a chill, moody piece of electronic music.
What I like the most about this song is its killer bass and how it oozes fun Saturday nights out with friends. I am really enjoying the lush, soulful vocals and how they soar beautifully over a polished blend of r&b, pop and electronic music with jazzy undertones. Enough was inspired by attachment issues and what it feels like to straddle the line between deeper commitment and shallow desires. It’s imbued with wishful, dreamy apprehension – wondering what a relationship could be.
I am also very fond of the way this talented duo weaves rich synthetic textures into the warmth of analog instrumentation. I am also a fan of the way the groovy beat and moody rhythms are paired with lush horns that give the song that extra touch that makes it stand out from others. Check it out below!
