British singer and songwriter Beth Keeping has just shared her brand new single Plane Tickets, a lovely pop song that shows her most vulnerable storytelling so far.
The 4th single to be taken from her upcoming EP, Plane Tickets is a bittersweet, synth-led pop song that deals with the joys and pain of being single. Seeing all of your friends coupled up makes you feel quite lonely at times and I like the way Beth's heartfelt storytelling makes us single ones feel a bit more understood. This message is wrapped around an infectious electro-pop production with lush synths and catchy rhythms that beautifully create a warm atmosphere for Beth's lovely, emotive vocals to soar. Plane Tickets is about being single when all your friends are coupled up and how I deal with the loneliness by jumping on planes and travelling. It's bittersweet and honest, and I was scared to release it but I know that so many people are struggling with loneliness and this might just make them feel more understood.
