Arya Zappa Shares New Single ‘Listen To the Wind’

Berlin-based singer-songwriter Arya Zappa has just shared her brand new single Listen To The Wind, a retro-infused disco/dream-pop cut out now via Kobra Recordings. 

 

Following her Italo-disco-inspired pop anthem Saturday, Listen To The Wind instantly pulls the listeners into its 80's teen film vibes thanks to its persuasive disco beat and optimistic tone. I am a fan of the tone of her voice, which is very distinctive and commanding, effortlessly capturing our attention from start to finish. I am very fond of the bright, expansive synths and how they are nicely paired with a groovy beat throughout the song that create an overall cinematic, feel-good atmosphere that contrasts with the melancholy of the lyrics and her vocal delivery.
