Alta Falls Share New Single ‘Trust Me’

Brisbane indie/alternative outfit Alta Falls, consisting of Nathanael Hubbard and Matthew Green, are back with their first single of the year Trust Me, which beautifully combines masterful lyricism packed with double entendres with a newfound sense of conviction.

I am really enjoying the cool drum patterns and how they are seamlessly intertwined with lush guitar strums and bright, hazy synths that instantly create a retro, feel-good atmosphere. I am also very fond of Nathanael's smooth, expressive vocals which soar effortlessly over the upbeat melodies telling a story of falling in love. Check it out below!

Speaking about the inspiration for the lyrics, Nathanael said,
My team, the Adelaide Crows, were in their first grand final after almost 20 years, and my hopes were riding high to achieve a childhood dream of watching them win a flag.
Matthew added,
Unfortunately it wasn’t to be. And although it was a heartbreaking result there are still plenty of fond memories, including taking in the post-match The Killers concert along with the other half of Alta Falls, Matt.
