yh dope Share Debut Single ‘Home’

London-based duo yh dope have just shared their official debut single Home, an upbeat electro-pop song. 

 

I am really enjoying those lovely, expressive vocals which sing about longing for home, something most that are away from home can relate to. The song was written during lockdown in London and it shows how as immigrants (Josh is from Australia and Eoghan is from Dublin) those times of bereavement and difficulty made them long for the comfort and safety they had at home. This relatable message is wrapped around an upbeat electro-pop production packed with groovy rhythms that are nicely paired with a catchy guitar riff and killer beat that create an overall feel-good, somewhat danceable, atmosphere.
